my friend SimsDancer and i are making a fullmetal alchemist fangame. currently, our gameplay style is going to be similar to undertale in that it will take place in a relatively RPG-type environment and the fighting scenes are going to resemble that of UT.
there will be three storylines: 03, brotherhood, and conqueror of shamballa, in which you can choose a character “route” in your playthrough. every single decision in the game will effect which character you “get”, which basically means if you do a certain route you’ll unlock a certain character and see a cutscene that will reveal what their thoughts were when the events in your route transpired (in the very beginning, the choices you make there are especially imperative, so be careful).
what’s funny is the way we’ve got it set up makes it so that we have more replay value planned for this game than skyrim, which is gr8 if you’re actually playing the game but an absolute nightmare if you’re coding it. soooooooo expect sporadic updates and allot us a lot of time for a workable beta.
the soundtrack will be all original and will become available once a decent beta is close to complete AND/OR if this post gets 50+ reblogs. we haven’t even begun on this soundtrack, though, so be forewarned that it’s gonna take a while.
